The following are services our organization provides with regard to altering and managing a group of unowned, homeless, and unowned community cats.
Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County provides information on how to trap cats for altering, offers weekly clinics where cats are given a wellness check, altered, microchipped, vaccinated, and treated for parasites. We also loan traps and/or can advise on where to rent or buy a trap.
We hold twice weekly spay/neuter clinics for unowned, colony and community cats. Trapping and transporting is done by the client or trapper. The requested donation is $50.00 per cat, but this fee is negotiable depending on the number of cats and the situation. If our clinic is not realistic for the situation, we will set the client up with one of our participating veterinarians for the altering procedure.
We can’t do what we do without a fantastic group of volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, fill out this form and we will contact you.
