Low Cost Spay / Neuter Referral Sheet

Forgotten Felines of Sonoma County works with feral cats only. If you need low-cost services for tame strays and/or pet cats, please see suggestions below. Your work with the veterinarians and/or organizations below has no connection with FFSC. We cannot pay for or subsidize their services.

Sonoma County

»Sonoma County Animal Care and Control - 1247 Century Court, Santa Rosa (707) 565-7100

A limited number of vouchers are available the first workday of every month, good for TAME or FERAL CATS, as well as dogs. Must pick up at shelter.
  • Designed to help low income families with financial assistance
  • Must provide proof of low income status
  • Must provide valid photo ID & proof of residency in Sonoma County
  • Must use participating veterinarians
    • Cat Spay or Neuter - $10.00 (co-pay)
    • Dog Spay or Neuter - $20.00 (co-pay)
You must bring your proof of income (less than $38,500 per year) with tax return or show paperwork related to receiving benefits from SSI, Disability, WIC, Healthy Families, AFDC, CalWORKS, Medi-Cal, Food Stamps, CHDP, Section 8 Housing, or CCS to shelter to receive your vouchers.

Rohnert Park, Cotati, Sebastopol and Penngrove
Friends of the Animals in the Redwood Empire (FAIRE) - (707) 544-5713
  • FAIRE will provide spay/neuter discount vouchers for $40.00 off each surgery for residents of Rohnert Park, Cotati, and Penngrove. Tame cats/dogs/rabbits.

    Rohnert Park and Cotati only
    Residents of Rohnert Park and Cotati can receive discount vouchers for the spaying and neutering of tame cats, dogs, and rabbits. Vaccinations included. Pick up vouchers at Rohnert Park Animal Shelter, 301 J. Rogers Lane, Rohnert Park. (707) 584-1582. Vouchers are valid for 30 days.

  • Tame Male or Female Cats - $35.00 at monthly spay/neuter event. Free feral cat spay/neuter when managing a feral colony. Call for details.

    Pet Population Control - (707) 545-4116 TAME CATS & DOGS: Offers vouchers to low-income Sonoma Valley residents to use with participating veterinarians. $10/$20 co-pay. Call for details.
