Rodney Strong Vineyards, located in Healdsburg, California, was founded in 1959 by Sonoma County wine pioneer Rodney D. Strong as the 13th bonded winery in Sonoma County. Today, the winery is privately owned by the Klein family, a fourth generation California agricultural family.
Rodney Strong Vineyards is dedicated to crafting world-class award-winning wines with complexity and varietal expression that capture the essence of Sonoma County. The winery grows and produces wines exclusively from four of Sonoma Countyıs finest appellations -- Russian River Valley, Chalk Hill, Alexander Valley and Sonoma Coast -- and produces year after year some of California's best premium wines, including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Symmetry, a red Meritage wine. The Rodney Strong Hospitality Center in Sonoma County serves tens of thousands of visitors annually, providing a truly memorable visit to Californiaıs most important wine region. The beautiful winery and hospitality center offer breathtaking views, exceptional wine tasting, and wonderful picnic facilities. The Hospitality Center is host to many private and community events throughout the year, and during the summer, visitors picnic and listen to concerts on "The Green", a one-quarter acre area of lush, green lawn, trees, and flowers - a memorable setting.
