Princess & Boy (F) Born 10/1/01, (M) Born 9/1/02 DSH Black w/White Spayed Female Adult, DLH Black & White Neutered Male Adult
At the time I thought it was a day just like any other day, but little did I know my life would never be the same on that fateful day this past August when my 94 year old companion left this earth never to return.

He was my best friend in the world. He named me Princess and treated me like one for 10 years. He let me out of the house that morning for my daily sniff around the yard and visit with "Boy". (Boy lived outside all the time.) But when it came time for me to go back into the house, the door remained closed. I waited and waited, but never saw my companion again. Different people came and tried to coax me back inside, but I was afraid and confused. Where was my friend? After three weeks, the kind man who was leaving food for me and Boy called Forgotten Felines for help. But I was one cagy gal. I hid whenever they came around. Boy wasn't afraid to show himself, but not me. As I discovered later, they put up a motion activated camera to find out if I was still coming for food. It took them many weeks to catch me, but between you and I, I was relieved. It is tough for a senior gal to be living like a boy scout outdoors. Even Boy likes the indoor life now. He's a bit more outgoing than I am, but I was used to just one person and you know the old saying about teaching an old dog new tricks, well, it's the same for cats.

We'd like to find a quiet, easygoing home where we could remain together and have plenty of time to adjust to our new surroundings. Although we were allowed outside privileges, with both of us now getting into our twilight years, we'd be happy just looking outdoors rather than having to experience it. Boy tends to hog the attention, which is fine with me. He has long fur, likes grooming, and will sit in your lap for as long as you'll allow. But when nap time comes around, he's all mine! We like to sleep together. If you have room for two seniors, please call Forgotten Felines. We'll be waiting! (707) 576-7999

Kittens can be seen in our adoption room at the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter, call (707) 576-7999.
