Abby Born 11/1/09 DSH Brown Tabby, Spayed Female
My new name is Abby Tabby. I don't remember what my first owners called me. They lost their home in Petaluma, and left all of us behind! Myself, several of my children, brothers, sisters, cousins, well, you get the idea. Nobody had given a thought to spaying and neutering us, and, well, there we were! A neighbor lady was walking her dog past the house and saw all of us, just hanging out in the front yard. She called Forgotten Felines, who decided to come out and trap all the cats and get them fixed. They even found great barn homes for six of us, and when they discovered three of us were tame, they found room in their Adoption Program! I'm one of the lucky ones the Forgotten Felines crew took one look at my beautiful emerald-green eyes and felt my luxuriously soft fur, and they decided they wanted to foster me at the office, so they could admire my fabulous markings and pet me every day. They also made a great fuss over my "marching in place" - you see, I like to lift my dainty little paws up and put them down while I'm standing next to you. I found out being flirty and feminine is a great way to get attention! It doesn't hurt to be drop-dead gorgeous, of course.

I'm still a little bit shy around strangers, and am hoping for a quiet home without a lot of noise and activity. I don't mind other cats if they don't bother me. You should know that I can be vocal at times, so you would need to be the kind of person that enjoys the sound of a cat expressing herself!

Abby is currently at Pick of the Litter, 1701-A Piner Rd., Santa Rosa 707 570-2590.

Kittens can be seen in our adoption room at the Rohnert Park Animal Shelter, call (707) 576-7999.
