Volunteer Program: Pick Of The Litter Volunteer Title: Sales Floor Assistant


Job Description: Assist in keeping store in good order and monitor sales floor activities

Job Qualifications: A background in retail sales and/or experience in display and merchandising is highly desirable. Customer service skills are also beneficial.

Volunteers must also be able to:
  • Follow directions and work within the guidelines of Pick Of The Litter
  • Work under the direction of the POL Management Team
  • Function as a team player
  • Reorganize and straighten up product displays
  • Interact with the public and assist customers in locating merchandise
  • Assist cashiers in packaging and bagging merchandise
  • Recognize and report any safety hazards or potential problems to Management Team
Commitment and Hours: We ask that all volunteers consider no less than a six-month commitment to the Program. Volunteers should also be willing to commit to a consistent weekly schedule during POL business hours (10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday).

Training: One on one training is provided on-site for this volunteer position.

Equipment & Supplies: FFSC will provide all equipment and supplies.
